Making Martenitzi 27.02.2012

 

On 27^th of February me and my classmates made martenitzi for our national celebration- Baba Marta, which will start at 1^st od March. I was so enthusiastic because this is one of my favorite Bulgarian celebrations. I worked in group with one of my classmates- Hristina, and our martenitzi became the prettiest.

On 14th of february we had a lot of stuf to do:
First of all in the morning we made some posters in form of hearts and one of the was for the mayor of the Veliko Tarnovo. Going to Municipality. Going to "Yantra Today"

First CAS meeting for the last term 02.02.2012

Today it was our first CAS meeting for the fourth term. We discussed our future activities. They are not a lot, as the time that lasts for me in this school. It makes me feel so sad.... There is my planning page below:

26.01.2012 Bowling Competition

On 26^th of January me and my classmates had a bowling competition. It was great. I hadn’t that great fun for a long time. It was so funny because we all lent and most of us didn’t know how to play. All the rules were forgotten. And that’s why it was so funny. My results were not very good, but also they were not so bad. So I am not completely dissapointed and I plan to go there more frequently in the future. Anyway I had a great practice in my bowling skills. I am so happy that I took this time, because I needed some time to relax. 

25.01.2012 Theatre Performance- "Decameron"

This is a picture from the performance. It shows some of the scenes. 

Today a lot of students of my school and I went to a theatre performance called “The Decameron”. I liked the performance so much. I love the way the actors from the theatre in my home town, Veliko Tarnovo, are playing, they are playing very good and I feel proud when I see it. The performance was unique, it was much more different than the other performances which I’ve ever watched. There were so unpredictable scenes. It was a little bit funny and, at the same time, sad and edifying. For me that is the perfect combination. The most melancholic moment was at the end. After the actors took a bow, there was a person who went to the scene and told that one Bulgarian actor from the theatre in Veliko Tarnovo, died today. I saw the tears in the eyes of every of the actors. It was their friend and they overcome the fact that he is already not alive and played their role so good. I became sad and amazed at the same time; I was amazed by their work. I loved this performance!

25.01.2012 The International Day of Smile

Today is the International Day of Smile. Me, my classmates and the other members of the Charity club gave cards with smiles to the other students and teachers in the school hall. I was so glad when I saw the people’s happiness when I gave them the cards. I love those kind of celebrations they make the society much more happy. As I said in my previous publication, I am against the idea that people should smile only one day of the year. I think that smile makes (almost) everyone’s face much more beautiful. It shows happiness. Happiness is what all people need, and this is why I support the idea for the celebration.  

24.01.2012 Creating "Smiles" for the International Day of Smile

 Tomorrow (on 25^th of January) is the International Day of Smile. On 24^th of January my classmates and I made cards with smiles, which we will give to the teachers and the students of our school. I am so excited to see the emotions of the other people. I think that people should smile a lot, every day, not only on 25^th of January. Anyway I love the celebration, because it makes the people a little bit happy.
